The cookies and similar technologies Figviz uses, and how to control them.
2026/06/20
This policy explains how Figviz ("Figviz," "we," or "us") uses cookies and similar storage on figviz.com and in the Figviz application. Using the Service means you accept the cookies described here, except where you control them as set out below.
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. We also use related browser technologies such as local storage. Together they let us keep you signed in, remember your settings, and understand which features are useful.
Essential, required for Figviz to work at all. They keep you signed in as you move between the marketing site and the app, protect against request-forgery and similar attacks, and route traffic. The Service won't function without them.
Preferences, remember choices like your language and light/dark theme so you don't reset them each visit. You can clear these in your browser; you'll just lose the personalization.
Analytics, help us understand, in aggregate, how the Service is used, which tools are popular, how fast pages load, and where errors occur, so we can improve. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you.
Support & messaging, if you use our chat widget or dismiss an announcement, that may set a cookie to remember its state (open, closed, dismissed).
We do not run third-party advertising or remarketing trackers.
The providers behind these cookies (for example, our analytics and support tools) are contractually limited to using the data only to provide their service to Figviz. They may not use your prompts or diagrams to train public AI models.
You can manage or clear cookies in your browser settings:
If you block essential cookies, parts of Figviz, including sign-in and downloads, will stop working.
Browser "Do Not Track" signals don't yet have an agreed standard, so Figviz does not currently respond to them. Use the browser controls above to manage cookies.
We may revise this policy as we add features or as rules change. The "Last updated" date below reflects the latest version.
